Both my preschooler and I love pop-up books and we've been finding titles to add to our collection. I came across this Castle pop-up book at a local chain bookstore [retailing for about 6 bucks] and snapped it up! I remember, when I was a kid, having pop-up books that basically required you to pull flimsy levers to induce some kind of lame motion in a car, tiger, or whatever. The whole concept of a pop-up book was a gimmick and the pop-ups rarely added anything to the story or subject.

Castle: Medieval Days and Knights (A Sabuda & Reinhart Pop-up Book)I got this for my 11 year old grandson, who is very into castles, knights, etc. He loved it and enjoyed exploring the many historically correct rooms and chambers. The humorous touches delighted him and he liked the knighting ceremony in the great hall. He thought the title "Medieval Days and Knights" was clever.
