These are actually pretty comfy once you get used to the idea. The Old Glory pouch is very patriotic and provides enough coverage to make these wearable for most occasions. The waistband string is quite elastic and I've learned that it snaps with surprising force when suddenly released after being pulled away from the lower back. Of course this isn't a problem if your partner doesn't love to see you squirm...

I have a couple of these. They are soft, sexy and comfortable not to mention on the patriotic side! This g-string keeps "everything" in place nicely unless you can't get your significant other to stop playing with it.
