I was disappointed with this item. I purchased a Small - which was definitely not tight enough to stand up to the manufacturer's claim of firm control, slimming and shaping. The fabric is smooth, if not a bit too heavy. Wearing this garment will eliminate pantylines - but no better than a pair of control top pantyhose.
